Okay, guys and gals, if you built your rig or bought your rig and it has features you like and are proud of, post em up!!!

We want pictures and maybe some stats and maybe even some back-story of something about it.

Anyways I thought it'd be fun. I'll start it off.
I built my computer over a course of time and added/upgraded some things along the way and enjoy doing it.

Here's my little corner of the universe. The specs can be seen on EVGA Mods Rigs forums HERE

***Update on the computer tweaking***

Recently upgraded the guts of my computer with some newer parts.

- ASUS Z87 Sabertooth Next Gen i7 motherboard.

- Intel i7 4770K 1150 chipset processor.

- 16GB Gskill Trident 2400MHz RAM (2x8GB).

- Corsair H100i closed circuit liquid CPU cooler.

- Samsung 840 Pro 256GB SSD.

Same desk, case, peripherals, etc. Just added a new engine I guess. :D
This baby is zingin now.

Here are some pics

And with a little tweaking of the clock and voltages I'm sitting at 4.5GHz @
2.79 volts and a cool mid 60s under load for the CPU.

Hey everyone! I was encouraged the other day to come post so here I am! I've got pics posted on mods rigs so just follow the link and enjoy!

http://www.modsrigs.com/detail.aspx?BuildID=33451

I made the case myself out of 1/4 inch acrylic and sleeved the PSU and fan cables with 550 paracord.

I've been debating picking up the 980ti and passing the GTX 970 to my old machine. Is the card as awesome as they say? Any chance you are running it at 4k? If so, how does GW2 run?

Hey there. Sorry for the late replay. From the reviews I've read, the 980 Ti is the "sweet spot" for 2k and 4k. Being almost half the cost of the TitanX but still beating the TitanX in some benchmarks and coming very close behind in other benchmarks, this card is pretty much spot on. The 6GB of VRAM are perfect for the high texture mods of any game you want to add.
I game at 2K and have zero issue. However, a number of my coworkers have used 4K for gaming and ran into User Interface issues with no fix. The on-screen buttons and controls are so tiny they're almost unusable and a lot of games don't have a fix for it yet.
2K seems to be the sweet spot as well for gaming. Generally 27" or larger.

Let me know what you end up doing. The next GPU is supposed to be coming out this year too with new architecture, so if you're one who likes to keep bleeding edge, you may wait, but this card is currently one of the best Nvidia cards on the market for the price and runs anything out there.
